     Sir John Gordon was born circa 1315. He was the son of Sir Adam Gordon.1 Sir John Gordon married Elizabeth (?). Sir John Gordon died in 1374 in Strathbogie, Aberdeenshire, Scotland.1,2,3 He was taken prisoner at Dunbar and released in 1357. His Strathbogie lands were confirmed on March 20, 1357/58 by King David II.1
